SalesForce Developer (Taipei)

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified SalesForce Developer (Administrator) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, and Financial Force. The role primarily involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to ensure seamless operations and efficient processes. The candidate must have a strong background in Apex code resolution and possess exceptional problem-solving skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization by leveraging Salesforce's capabilities. The Salesforce Developer is a team player, adept at managing relationships, collaborating, and influencing across a variety of organizational functions and levels. The SalesForce Developer reports to the IT Manager. 

Duties

  • Salesforce Administration: Perform day-to-day administration tasks including user management, security settings, profiles, permission sets, roles, workflows, process builders, and data management to ensure optimal system performance and data integrity.
  • Customization and Configuration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions within Salesforce. Customize Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, and record types as needed to meet specific business needs.
  • Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Management: Oversee the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments, including lead management, opportunity tracking, case management, knowledge base setup, and integration with other systems.
  • Pardot Management: Manage the Pardot marketing automation platform, including lead scoring, lead nurturing, email campaigns, landing pages, forms, and integration with Salesforce for seamless lead management.
  • Financial Force Administration: Administer the Financial Force application, including setup, configuration, and integration with Salesforce for efficient financial and accounting processes.
  • Apex Code Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Apex code, triggers, and Visualforce pages. Write and modify Apex code as needed to enhance system functionality and meet business requirements.
  • Integration and Data Management: Manage and maintain integrations with other systems, ensuring data consistency and seamless information flow. Perform data migration and data quality management tasks when necessary.
  • User Training and Support: Provide end-user training and support for Salesforce and related applications. Assist users in troubleshooting issues, understanding system functionality, and maximizing their productivity within Salesforce.
  • System Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features. Evaluate, test, and implement system upgrades and enhancements to leverage the latest functionalities and improve overall system performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into system usage, performance, and user adoption.

Experience

  • 5 years of prior experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Salesforce Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, its features, capabilities, and best practices is crucial. They should be familiar with various Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, Certinia (Financial Force) and have expertise in customizing and configuring Salesforce to meet specific business requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Apex (Salesforce's proprietary programming language), Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components is essential for developers. They should also have integration techniques (REST, SOAP). Additionally, knowledge of declarative tools like Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and experience in Flow Builder is important for administrators.
  • Expertise in setting up and managing user accounts, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings within Salesforce. They should be capable of creating and maintaining custom objects, fields, workflows, approval processes, and reports. Understanding data management and data migration strategies is also crucial. 
  • Experience in building custom applications, triggers, classes, components, and extensions using Apex and Lightning components. They need to be skilled in creating custom user interfaces, integrating with external systems, and implementing business logic using code. 
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions. They should be adept at troubleshooting errors, debugging code, and optimizing performance.
  • Experience in working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams. 
  • High aptitude for listening and understanding problems and the ability to help formulate solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Certifications

  • Salesforce Certifications:  Administrator/Advanced Administrator, Developer/Platform Developer, Pardot Specialists, Data Architecture and Management Designer, Application Architect, Technical Architect

Education and other requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, business, or related discipline
